Tweet tweet!

1 min read
I'm on Twitter since last week.

I try to post some street photos I found interesting, funny or else. And other inspiring photos on a specific thematic that I am looking for on the web.

The function of Twitter is quite limited though, and I'm afraid I'll be bored soon.

Do you have an account on Twitter? How do you use it? Do you feel that Twitter is bit too limited?

My very first Tweet was: "The peak of frustration can usually be detected when you start shooting bikes locked to street lamps."-Yanidel.

I wanted to share it with you because it is quite true...

You take care, talk to you soon! :manhug:

Well...

At first, I was confused when reading "Big congrats on the DD" from Mary [myraincheck].

I had to check by myself to understand what it was all about, and that indeed one of my photos was chosen as a DD today!!

I'm so happy I almost start to believe in God!! :w00t:

I want to thank Stam [StamatisGR] for featuring my work today. :thanks:

I also want to take the opportunity to pay tribute to all the people who promote street photography here on DA, to all the wonderful groups, and every enthusiastic members who take the time to write articles about it, to feature surprising street photos on their journals, to work together as a team to improve our vision of street photos.

It takes only a click to check all those terrific clubs which collect unbelievable street images. Some of them will make you think, others will trigger surprise or laugh,  and perhaps you'll realize how people can be versatile in everyday life.

Go and check by yourself (to name only a few):
The-Yard-Collective
StreetSnapshots
TheStreetFactor
Street-photo

I thank you all again for your support!!

Cheers!

Planning on...

... sorting my old films, cleaning them and scanning them again.

Hopefully, I'll get some forgotten shots that are worth looking at.

I've started this tonight and it does not look good so far.

I know I know I know.

I have committed the sin of lying.

My bad, my very bad... but I could not resist.

I felt so good doing it! :evillaugh:

Yesterday night while surfing in the most recent posted deviations, I noticed several self-portraits submitted by a new member on DA.  Actually, she submitted 10 self-portraits in less than one hour.

You know how I'm pissed when people abuse of their self-portraits.  My mood is not getting better when I notice the poor quality of the photos.

So yesterday, I took advantage of this new member's innocence and left a message on one of her many self-portraits.

Basically, my message said:
"You know that if you do to many self-portraits on DA, you'll be slaughtered by DA administrators?
It's not very funny so be aware..."

When I think about it, it's rather ridiculous.

Anyway.

She replied:
"good to know! my whole project, however, is showing the emotion that i go through for the next year Oh my God!! Another crazy lunatic self-portraitist!! :faint:
if i get reamed, i get reamed. art is nothing but subjective. =)
thanks!"

Well, she's true. Art is subjective.

So now, we need to determine the limits of subjectivity in art.
